OPENING NIGHT FILM AND PROGRAM

You can pick up your FREE ticket for the opening night beginning Monday, January 8, at the SCERA Center for the Arts in Orem (745 South State Street).

Come and mingle with filmmakers in the lobby of the SCERA Center for the Arts and enjoy the opening night of the 6th LDS Film Festival 2007. No ticket necessary.

7:00 p.m. Xango Grand Theatre
Opening Night Program and Feature Film

Come join us for a FREE night at the movies! This year's festival opens with a night to remember on Wednesday, January 17. Film celebrities and musical guests join us for our first opening night gala. Following the program is the Utah premiere of Ryan Little's newest film "Outlaw Trail," an action/adventure film entirely shot in Utah. Please make sure to get your FREE tickets at the Scera Ticket Office (745 South State Street in Orem). More details about the program will be posted here soon.

Synopsis: The story of Roy, a young man (Ryan Kelley, "Mean Creek" and "Stolen Summer") who is a direct descendent of the legendary Butch Cassidy. Unlike the rest of his family, however, young Roy is not ashamed of this black mark on the family name. Quite the contrary! Roy cherishes this family connection and, even more troublesome to his elderly uncle (James Gammon), becomes convinced that Butch Cassidy didn't really die. He becomes determined to find out the truth about this uncle who he never really knew!
